Our Immigration Legal Services

Temporary Visas: There are several types of visas that will allow visitors to enter the United States and remain for a specified period of time. These include employment/work visas, marriage/fiancee visas, student visas, tourist visas, and more. An immigration attorney can guide you through the process and help make certain you meet the requirements.

Permanent Immigration: A permanent residency card, or "green card," will allow a foreign national to live and work in the United States permanently. However, the process can be quite arduous, often taking several years to complete. Applicants are advised to seek help from an immigration attorney to facilitate the proceedings.

Naturalization: An immigrant who wishes to become a United States citizen must go through the naturalization process. An immigration attorney can facilitate this process by walking you through the initial eligibility requirements and helping you file the proper paperwork.

Temporary Protected Status and Refugee & Asylum Application: Foreign nationals fleeing a country in turmoil may petition the U.S. government for Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Additionally, foreign nationals who are in danger of persecution in their home country may apply for asylum or refugee status. An immigration attorney can inform you of the eligibility requirements and assist you with the application process.

Foreign Adoption: Twenty five states in the U.S. recognize international adoptions and treat them as if they were finalized in the adoptive parents' home state. Other states allow (or in some cases, require) a re-adoption process, where the final adoption decree is issued by a state judge. An immigration attorney can keep you apprised of the adoption laws in your state and assist you in taking the necessary steps to finalize a foreign adoption.
